Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and Resource Recovery for Coal Chemical Wastewater Treatment

DuPont membrane technology was used at a coal chemical wastewater treatment facility at the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base in Ningxia, China, where minimum liquid discharge (MLD) was used to process the wastewater and achieve significant water recovery before thermal processing to achieve ZLD.
