Project Engineer, Separation Technologies Applied Research and Translation Centre [NTUitive]
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering.
- Preferably 3 years of experience in project execution in new product introduction and/or process operation and optimization.
- Knowledge in design, operations, and process optimization of skids for water and non-water treatment applications.
- Knowledge of, and strong adherence to high Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Experience in O&G/Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing production.
- Experience in membrane science and membrane processes.
- Experience in flat sheet and hollow fiber membrane/module fabrication testing especially for water and gas applications is a strong advantage.
- Trained in or familiar with health, safety and environment (HSE) practices/protocols, e.g. safety risk assessment, LOTO etc.
- Project Management skills and able to collect, compile and communicate technical information effectively to different parties.
- Keen interest in water/non-water membrane technologies.
Other Personal Attributes
- Self-initiative, highly motivated, self-starter with ability to perform duties independently, with minimal supervision.
- Good communication, oral and written skills.
- Inquisitive and possess hands-on problem-solving attitude.
- Able to liaise with contractors and vendors for upgrading and maintenance work.
