[Position filled] Project Analyst, Singapore Membrane Consortium (SG MEM)
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering in-depth research into specific industry domains, translate the findings into realistic recommendations addressing business needs/applications, and assist in conceptualizing and driving SG MEM-led strategic projects and/or proposals. Requisites for this position are research, data validation and analysis, technical writing and project management skills. Self-starters who play well in a team, with strong integrity and accountability mindset are desired.
Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis

Research on membrane-related needs in specific industries such as Bio-medical, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, CO2 and the Environment, Food and Beverage etc.

Research and collation of existing and upcoming membrane technologies across the varied industry sectors, including maintenance and updates to the knowledge repository.

Analyze and conceptualize membrane technology map along various variables, trends and time horizons.

Develop probable scenarios with clear application and adoption roadmap for specific domains and/or technologies.
Technical Writing

Write and compile technically accurate content on industry sectors and relevant technologies to support SG MEM-led publications/projects/proposals validated through extensive research including validation interviews with subject matter experts.
Project Management

Assist in conceptualizing and driving strategic projects that may arise from the research findings, and/or relevant business/needs case analyses.

Assist in logistics and stakeholder management of SG MEM-led projects/proposals.

Assist in duties related to documentation, communication collaterals and outreach activities.
Requirements:

Degree in Engineering/Science.

Minimum 1 year of experience in research, analysis and scientific/technical writing.

Meticulous data triangulation and validation skills.

Preferred experience in membranes, chemistry and/or materials technology.

Preferred prior experience with business case analysis and/or applied research analysis.

Ability to discern industry needs and trends.

Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across academia, institutional research, and industry.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Team player with strong integrity and accountability mindset.
