Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore (PIPS) – Grant Call – Active Ingredient to Product Interface

 

Background

 

  1. The Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore (PIPS) is an industry-led R&D platform which aims to synergistically and strategically bring together public sector research capabilities and domain expertise of the pharmaceutical industry to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency within Singapore’s pharmaceutical sector through leveraging novel manufacturing technologies and data analytics.
  2. PIPS is launching a grant call within one of its workstreams, i.e. Active Ingredient to Product Interface. The purpose of the grant call is to solicit meaningful and impactful solutions from the research community to address and resolve the identified challenges which are listed in the attached document. When developed fully, these solutions can be readily adopted and implemented to the benefit of the pharmaceutical companies within the consortium.

Eligibility

 

  • This grant call is open to all relevant Institutes of Higher Learning and Research Institutes within the PIPS consortium.
  • To receive the final grant award, the entity must be a member of the PIPS consortium.

Application

 

  • Applicants are invited to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) following the attached template.
  • Submission of the LOI will be via email to pips@ices.a-star.edu.sg
  • The deadline to submit the LOI is 15 April 2022, 5.00 pm, Singapore time.
  • Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal after the LOIs have been reviewed.
  • Selected applicants are expected to work with Subject Matter Experts from the industry and technology providers. However, these stakeholders need not be listed in the LOI at this stage.
